This is my first post here. I’m planning to post more puzzles here in the future, mostly (if not all) related to Slitherlink.
This is a variant of Area 51 (you can find Area51 Instructions here). Apply all Area 51 rules. In addition, each row and each colomn has to have exactly half of its cells inside the loop.
Two puzzles are presented here. The 10×10-1 version probably is a little bit more easy than the 8×8-1 version.

Looks like the most challenging puzzle for me, after I decided to try out ingenious puzzles on the web after having spent my years with newspaper crosswords. Is there a way to show and tell the rules as I haven’t played Area 51 either? Thanks.
There is a link to the rules of Area 51 above the puzzle. And yes, the puzzle can be hard indeed, but with enough experience with Slitherlink, this should be doable, I think. Enjoy!
